The Problem
Traditional core aerification methods impact about 5% of putting greens and then large amounts of granular nitrogen is used to heal in that same 5%.
Therefore, we can never core-aerify out of the organic material build-up problem.
When the plant takes in more nitrogen than it can metabolize, it takes the plant out of metabolic equilibrium and triggers growth in all directions using up the energy reserves (carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins) stored in its roots.
Our Solution
Use smaller tines spaced closer together to achieve the same amount of OM removal.
Allow the plant to heal in faster using its own natural phytohormones to trigger rhizome and stolon growth, then give it the energy it needs to naturally perform this lateral growth by supplying it with the right amount of carbohydrates, amino acids and proteins.
This will keep the plant metabolically balanced, heal in quicker, and not create the large OM build-up in the soils that granular fertilizers produce.
Managing organic material levels will save money on plant growth regulators, fungicides and time. It will also lead to a healthier plant with superior playability.
